During a layover at London Heathrow (LHR), we explored the Duty-Free stores to stuff more souvenirs in our backpacks. With a rude awakening about the departure gates being in another terminal, we rushed through the London Underground to make it there in time before the boarding gate closed for good.

After getting through the troubled security checks, we looked for a departure immigration desk but could not quite find it. On the other hand, Clement, who was coincidentally travelling on the same flight to our next layover destination London Heathrow (LHR), was able to find us in the busy airport.

Sumantro and I bade farewell to a bunch of folks leaving either on the same day or the next day while we waited in the reception area for our taxi to arrive. Things started getting messier when we decided to check in for a set of long flights and we feared that we might lose our luggage again.

After a relatively late start, I shared breakfast conversations with fellow event attendees. Sumantro and I checked out early and headed off to Cork Central to get some more souvenirs. With loads of collectibles and chocolates obtained for gifting to friends and families, we came back to the hotel.

After a fun ghost tour in Cork, Lenka Segura and I explored a souvenir shop before opting for an earlier public bus due to the rain. We met up with Troy Dawson and his wife who inspired us to have pizzas for dinner. We decided to call it a day after meeting up with the lovely Rocky Linux folks.

With the last activity done at the Fedora Mentor Summit and the closing note delivered by the Fedora Project Leader and Fedora Community Architect, the conference came to an end. The attendees freshened up and headed out to the city to see what the Cork City Ghost Tour had to offer in the evening.

With a great collection of interactive workshops to participate in, I continued with my assignment of moderating the Fedora Mentor Summit 2023 events while participating as an attendee in the wonderful community bonding discussions organized by the community's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team.

While the third day of the Flock To Fedora 2023 was less busy as compared to the previous days, that did not mean that it lacked interesting events to participate in. People joined the second iteration of the Fedora Mentor Summit with other workshops, hackfests and discussions throughout the day.

Continuing the tradition of keeping the entertainment for the evening, the attendees of the conference were let loose in the city with a tablet device per group, some map waypoints to track, some difficult questions to answer, some interesting activities to perform and a lot of excitement to be had

The attendees readied up before they headed off to participate in the CentOS Project-sponsored community dinner at Tequila Jack's and the scavenger hunt event in Cork City. Our team "Open Sauce" participated alongside numerous other teams to explore the city doing fun activities and making memories.
