With the first talk wrapped up and some time left in hand before my next talk began, I stayed back to attend the Fedora Docs talk before heading upstairs. I donned the Community Platform Engineering-themed threads to deliver the next interactive talk with Aoife Moloney in the Harbour 6 room.

After socializing with a bunch of community friends that I was meeting with after a long time while consuming some snacks and beverages, I headed to the Tivoli room to deliver my first talk of the day. While the talk went well, I do think that I could have done a better job of managing the time.

The first day of Flock To Fedora 2023 began with rising early to prepare for the couple of talks I had planned for the day, socializing with community friends during breakfast, finding ourselves the second and third best seats in the hall and attending three interesting keynote presentations.

After going through a difficult choice of which swags to choose and which ones not to, we headed back to the dining space for a quick evening bite. Once done with our dinner, we headed out for a little stroll in the countryside amidst the moist and grey weather equipped with raincoats and parasols.

Sumantro, Amita and I reached the event venue for the Flock To Fedora 2023 conference in Cork, Ireland after an arduous journey from India lasting almost 22 hours. We met with friends, both old and new, visiting this event from a bunch of free and open-source software communities across the world.
